Founded in 1986, Fairfax Capital Partners is a private merchant
bank whose principal focus is acquiring businesses that can
benefit from changed ownership and from our credibility,
experience, and expertise in helping to grow companies and to
enhance business value. Each one of us has spent over three
decades--as financiers, entrepreneurs, and senior management--
helping companies achieve their goals. Throughout our careers,
we have been successful in raising substantial amounts of capital
and profitably deploying it to the benefit of our shareholders,
employees, and other corporate constituents.
We consider ourselves to be partners in development as supporters of existing management, not as replacements for them. We are experienced at strategic planning, building acquisition programs, structuring corporate alliances, raising capital, organizational development, and other elements that can help grow a company.
